The TURU BARI Tropical Park is an eco-adventure oriented theme park, that started operation last April 5 th , 2003. It has a total extension of 650 acres in a beautiful scenery, surrounded on the Northeast by the Rio Grande de Tarcoles, to the Southwest by the Turrubares hillsides and the Carara National park and to the West by the Nicoya Gulf , which you can see from the highest elevation areas.

Visitors enter the park in three spectacular ways which are through the TURU BA RI Sky Ride or the aerial tram. Those adventure lovers can have the access of the park slipping through a cable with a velocity of 100 km/hr through the magnificent Sensational Cable or can do a descending tour to the cables of canopy and the very exciting horse-back-riding through the mountains.

Way back in the year 1997, about 15 years in the past, the property was dedicated to the cattle raising field and with the abundant production of mangoes. Six years later the property was transformed into a park with an immense tropical garden with botanical collections, trails and a large quantity of attractions for tourist to enjoy which has helped preserved our planet and brought social benefits to few of the human resources.
